C-TPAT CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED BY CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION

 

 2013 C-TPAT Conference

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is proud to announce the 2013 C-TPAT Conference, Unified Global Security: The Challenge Ahead, scheduled for January 8-10, 2013 in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.  C-TPAT will host a three-day seminar that will be divided into two sessions, one general session day and two workshop days.  The conference registration will open at noon on December 5, 2012.

The 2013 event will prove to be slightly different.  In a continued effort to increase awareness of the C-TPAT program, CBP welcomes potential members to attend this year’s event.  All attendees will be required to pay the registration fee of $171.00.  Potential members will only be permitted to attend specific workshops and the general session.

Also note that due to the popularity of the C-TPAT Conference, we advise you register as early as possible.  During the online registration, C-TPAT members must provide their account numbers in the requested field.  This will prevent a potential delay in the registration process.

o The registration fee for onsite participation is $171.00 U.S. dollars. Registration must be made on-                   line at CBP.gov and payment must be made by credit card.
o For onsite participation, registrants will be confirmed and processed on a first come, first served
basis.

o Onsite participants are required to identify which session they would like to attend, Session A or
Session B.  The listing of break-out sessions being offered is provided above. Participants are
required to participate in the break-out sessions for which they register.
o When registering for onsite participation, you must indicate whether you plan to attend the January
9, 2013 luncheon. If you decide not to attend the luncheon that you confirmed at registration, please

Cancellation Policy

All requests for cancellations/refunds must be submitted through the form provided and received no later than January 3, 2013.  Online cancellation form:  (https://apps.cbp.gov/ctpat_reg/cancel.asp?w=2)

CBP will follow the federal government operating status as indicated on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s website, including specifics for employees located in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. ( OPM.gov ) If the January 8-10, 2013 C-TPAT Conference is cancelled due to inclement weather, CBP will refund all registration fees within 14 days.
